GANITA is also included in MathSciNet. The papers published (since 2017) in the journal are reviewed by Mathematical Reviews.


Mathematics Conference in Lucknow

Bharata Ganita Parisad is an educational society instituted for the promotion of mathematics and mathematical culture. Ever since its inception in 1950, the Parisad has been holding annual conferences and bring out one volume, consisting of two numbers, of its journal GANITA each year. Life membership of the Parisad is Rs. 2000. BGP also organizes different activities like Mathematical Lecture series, workshop etc. the details of which are given on the website

Paper for presentation

The Parisad invites research papers for presentation in the conference. The speakers should send a copy of the abstract of the paper to the General Secretary by Nov 05, 2018.


In order to encourage young mathematicians, BGP has instituted a prize of Rs. 2000 for presenting best paper (in area of pure mathematics / applied mathematics). Following points may be noted for the papers to be considered for the prize:

  1. Maximum age limit is 30 years by October 30, 2018.
  2. Papers by joint authors will not be considered.
  3. Only original and unpublished work will be considered.

The papers will be reviewed by experts. Papers will have to be presented personally at the conference. On the joint basis of review and presentation, selection will be made of the best paper. The decision of the experts will be final.

Neatly typed paper along with completed registration form should reach the Secretary, Bharata Ganita Parisad, by latest by October 30, 2018.
